Hazard:  There were 2 reports of a “pop” when the cord was plugged in. The cord also was damaged after that. The product poses a risk of fire, burn and electrical shock.

Remedy: Refund
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled waxing kits and contact Southern Telecom for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to write “Recalled” with permanent marker on the wax warmer, cut the unplugged power cord and submit a photo to www.southerntelecom.com and click on “Support” listed at the bottom of the page.
